Thanks Lonetrail for the Yosemite climbing article.  My brother in his early 70's (now in Costa Rica) was one of those in the late 40's, early 50's who set the stage for climbers to come. He use to do rescue climbs for the Sierra Club all through the Valley. I've copied the article and will send it to him.
