[pct-l] 16 days and a dog
JMT section, definitely. 16 days is a great period for the JMT/PCT to kick
your respective butts ;-) (having done that section in 28 easy days in '82)
Later in August would be better than earlier, however.
Oh darn, I forgot about the dog part. Perhaps the PCT north of Yosemite to
Donner Summit at I-80? There's the silly regulation about keeping dogs out
of the Park trails....

recomendations - dog accesible, beautiful, not particularly easy. I expect
