[pct-l] Article on Trail Festivals on the PCT and CDT

I was doing some shooting for the follow-up to "WALK"
these last few days and stopped by the Trail Days
set-up at Tahoe with Nabor J and Chowdah before
dropping them at Sonora Pass. They both were deluged
at Trail Days with roughly $200 worth of free gear and
service. They were quite happy. I also got some
hopefully riveting footage of a process whereby hip
belts are put in a oven and then form-fitted to the
individual hiker. If I'm not mistaken, Carl, Monte
and Greg had that back in '77. Anywho..everyone was
very cool and helpful and, hopefully, this event can
grow over the years. Now if they can just get rid of
the L.A.-like traffic in Tahoe City during the summer.
Anyone have a jet pack I can have for cheap?
