Send a letter to Ted Turner.  He owns millions of acres in Montana, Wyoming, ND, SD and Nebraska.    I don't know if the PCTA has approached anyone like Turner or Bill Gates, etc. with a sponsorship idea.  Someone like that could even buy or permanently lease a corridor through the Tejon Ranch.   A permanent trust fund could be established for trail maintenance for the PCT, CDT and AT.   Then the government would be out of the picture.
