[pct-l] mosquitoes and long-sleeved shirts

On the CDT in 2004, I switched from wearing a tank top to a long-sleeved white shirt in hot sections. Everyone on the lists said the long-sleeved shirt is cooler than a tank top, and now I agree!
Here's the problem, though. The long-sleeved shirt
works fine against the mosquitoes EXCEPT for the
top/back of my shoulders. That's the only place
where the shirt was always tight against my skin.
YES, it was a tightly-woven shirt but the mosquitoes
still went to town on my shoulders.
Does anyone know of a long-sleeved white shirt which
has reinforced shoulders (I know that sounds silly)?
I was thinking of just having a seamstress sew an
extra piece of SOMETHING on the shoulders of my shirt.
Anyone have any ideas?
