Hey Girl Scout - good job!  Seems to me if you contact the Ridgecrest BLM
office they'll be able to at least take your information.  Unfortunately the
entire BLM website's down, but here's a Sacramento number: California
916-978-4400, which should get you somewhere.

I honestly don't know if the information you gleaned was sufficient to
report the individual, but reporting trail abuse is a good thing.  Thank
you.  I'm jealous - been sitting behind my computer screen for the last 10
days!

the other day in the tehachapi's, i managed to get the first 4 digits
off the license plate of a motorbiker openly and defiantly riding on the
pct... can anyone tell me if this might be sufficient to report him, and
if so where should i submit the info? or is it not even worth bothering
with at all?
