Mike,

Please have yourself another oilcan and relax. As in most any social 
group we occasionally have discussions that get out of hand.  The key to 
relaxaing is the [Delete] key.

It seems that members have a lot more "vinigar" this year -- maybe too 
many people held back from hiking by weather and snow.
