[pct-l] snow comparisons
> What exactly is snow, water content?
I dunno about alot of this stuff, but i do know that there are many
different types of snow (eskimos have something like 200 different
words for snow). some snow is "heavy" and has alot of water content.
some snow is "light and fluffy", and has very little water content and
has more air in each snow flake. there is also "pellet" snow,
crystaline-like snow, "crud", sleet, hail, etc, etc, etc. each one has
a different water content per volume. In other words, 40" of "heavy"
snow has much more water in it than 40" if "light and fluffy" snow.
