[pct-l] Fwd: PocketMail Journal Service

Gary and all interested in Journaling direct from email.

Pocketmail's Journal application is unfortunately sort of a blog on
training wheels. I tried it years ago, and to my knowledge you still can
edit any entries. All your dumb test entries remain. And it does not
have a classy interface

For the past year I have been using a blog on blogger.com, now owned by
Google. You register with blogger, and they have an email address that
allows you to directly post an entry from your Pocketmail. I did it on
my last trip to China/Russia. You can choose from many templates. All
entries are editable, so you can add and delete anything.

If you want to see an example, my site is billwilson.blogspot.com (note
the clean and easy addressing too)

I just changed my template for my next trip in a few weeks, but my old
archives for last years trips are still there. They were posted at
internet sites on the road AND from my Pocketmail.

So if you want to journal in style, and still post directly from your
pocket mail, I suggest blogger.com

Bill Wilson, long time Pocketmail user
