[pct-l] Gaitors

I had planned to use REI low desert gaitors this year on the PCT, but with the high snow levels am now considering a taller, more durable but light weight (Silnylon?) gaitor for the Sierras. What are other PCT hikers wearing this year? Recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

Actually my feeling was that the people who *donated* the food
to the hiker box were the ones who were most disgruntled with
the situation. The food/goods were being donated to *hikers*
and those products were being appropriated by the management of
VVR to be sold for their profit. This is misleading at best,
fraudulent at worst. If the box said *VVR donations* then it
would be at least accurate, but probably empty.
