[pct-l] Questions about hiking the PCT in Oregon

August- snow is long gone and mosquitoes are on the way out (by about the
10th). It's certainly hikeable earlier, but I'd say this is the prime time.
Into September- which can be extraordinary- rainy/snowy weather becomes more
of an issue.
