I learned this from a Swiss friend years ago and routinely tie my shoes
this way. Only once in a while will I snag a lace just wrong and then
have them untie.
The method is simple. First tie your laces in the usual bow knot just
make sure the bows are a bit long/full. Then take the bows and tie them
in another simple knot -- one bow loop under the other and pull tight.
