Cool.
Datto's journal. 
Met him and his hiking (can't remember her name) partner at Wrightwood. 
Very nice people.  San Bernardino Sun took our photo's for a little article.
A couple weeks before his entry, the Tehachapi Enterprise treated me like
Royalty (very hiker friendly).

As far as taking a car one way out of state, maybe you can have better luck
than me.  I called.  They said no.

Small UHAUL $350 plus gas to northern Washington. 
Vancouver.............$650

United from Bakersfield...........................................$200
If I flip-flop, I'll probably go home for a few days (Warner Springs) then
fly.


Used to be a bus from there for $30 according to???????????????
