[pct-l] Those repulsive male mosquitoes!



I was given one of these devices.
When it's turned on, you can hear a high pitched whine. Very annoying.
It didn't affect mosquitoes one bit.
Turned it on right next to one as it started to feed on my arm. He
didn't even flinch.

Now, I've got a battery powered bug zapper that's good for hours of
entertainment while car camping...

Or they could really run interference here and make this thing really
work. 
Or given that this electronic device probably mimicks the sound of a 100
lb male mosquito, it would scare away everything. Reminds me of a
reeeeely bad sci fi pic I saw about huge eagle-sized mosquitoes sucking
all the god-fearing town folk bone dry of blood
