I don't think there is enough proof that goats were present in this area to 
start with. Also, this is a relatively small area and adding up to 300 goats 
here would make a major impact to the current vegetation.

Also, just to clarify, mountain goats and bighorn sheep are different 
species. The packgoat community has had major problems with mistaken 
information on domestic goat and bighorn sheep disease transmission, however 
I am not sure how this affects domestic goat/mountain goat interactions 
since bighorns are actually more closely related to domestic goats than 
mountain goats are.
