I tried the Titanium stakes but they are really just too thin to hold the tent in the sandy soil of SoCal. I ended up going back to the original stakes. They weight difference was minimal.
My rainfly was a light/medium green. That seemed fairly mellow to me.
I, too, absolutely love my Ultralightyear. No insects, no condensation, no chilly breezes.....

Maybe they had problems with the Eastons or I bought mine before they
switched over. That's more than an ounce difference. Are you using the
original stakes?
I used mine in 2000 and loved it. Will have it or my Atko with me this
year. Most people may be using tarps, but I love my home away from home.
Wish they made the rain fly in a mellower color.
