I too can not sing enough praises for this garment.
Light, highly compressible, warm for its weight, wind
proof, water resistant. 

It is my favorite garment. 

My windshirt is 4yrs old and still going strong. It is
my layer of choice for not only 3 season backpacking,
but also for winter use to in Coloraoo (with a shell
when neeeded). At $40 you say? That's a deal!
