[pct-l] Flying from Vancouver to So. Cal

I was born in Canada a long time ago and right from the getgo I got a US
passport after we were naturalized. My problem was not the Canadian side,
but getting back into the States. A couple of years ago my eldest son had
been skiing at Whistler BC all he had was a driver's license and a zillion
Credit cards, he was detained at the border for about an hour until they
accepted that he was an American citizen.

I have traveled extensively and the passport is all I needed. I
automatically renew it every ten years or so. It is so easy when you have
one. I do not have to worry about taking a drivers license, or birth
certificate while hiking.
Cheers,
Marge (the old gal)

I live in Ohio and have visited Canada frequently and I have never even
heard of anyone ever getting a passport to visit Canada.
