Just a few comments --

Generally, the things one regrets most are the things one never did. 
Even it you do it and don't like it, still you did it and learned and 
can move on.

I attended Iowa State University and one of the most meaningful quotes I 
heard was something like this:  We come not to learn to earn a living; 
but to learn to live a life.

Back in 1973 I quit a good paying job to take a sabattial of 
indeterminate length. Some career experts counselled me against it. I 
did it. Never regretted it.

Some people work in jobs that are truly rewarding to them. For the rest 
of us:  Don't live to work; w
