"Life is a journey, not a destination"
I just like going fast. It's a challenge for me. Hey, for most people going 20 miles a day is fast. I think everyone should just be positive, and wish each other well on their journey whether they go 10 miles a day or 50.
I run Ultramarathons. To give you some idea about who I am, my favorite distance is 100 mile trail race's. I like being out for 25-35 hours at a time pushing myself.
I think asking Why was a great question, how can someone know if they don't ask.
I ran/fast packed a Yo Yo last summer on the JMT. I did it in 12 days 4 hours. I feel I could of did it faster had I not been sick, with Bronchitis and had totally blistered feet for 7 days.
We all have answers to Why... It's the adventure thats WHY...
Cheers,
Catra
