Perhaps ask a question honing in on the specific info you're looking for.
Otherwise, if you just ask about dogs in general, you're likely to get a lot
of posts that just say "don't bring it." Or worse.

i am planning a 2006 thru hike, and would very much appreciate someone who's
thru hiked or done one or more section hikes of the pct's input. i'm
debating taking my dog.
i know this is a touchy subject in this list, and i've read thru a lot of
the archived posts. i was not able to find some of the specific info i was
looking for.

if someone who has done parts of the hike with a dag/dogs, i would
appreciate an email off list so i could gfet some feedback.
