How much longer do they last than standard AAA's?

The Eveready AAA package says: 1. 4.5 hours longer in MP3 players, 3.5
hours longer in CD players, & 7X longer in digital cameras - all vs ordinary
alkaline; I'll be using mine in a headlamp and a mini-mag tent lite, but
there's almost no way to measure headlamp or flashlight use.
The Eveready AA package says: lasts up to 7X longer in digital cameras
vs ordinary alkaline; I'll be using mine in my microcorder journal and my
Steripen water purifier. The Steripen literature rates batteries as follows:

Battery Type # of expected uses for 16 oz. of water Lithium Disposables
(Photo-type)*
140
NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride
100
Alkaline*
20-40
NiCad (Nickel Cadmium)
10-20
*Not recommended for cold weather use

Note the cold weather note above; however, the AAA & AA packages say they
operate well in extreme temps, -40 to 140 F (come to think of it, that's prawly
the range PCT hickers, thanks Yogi, think they're hiking in). And lastly,
they weigh right at half of regular alkalines, and a 15 year shelf life.
Eveready also now has an intermediate battery between alkies & lithies,
lifewise, in a green package. I don't see how hikers can lose with lithies,
less weight per batt, fewer spare batts to carry or ship, and 15 year storage.
