More extensive training. 4-6 miles a day )most days).
Last year for training I went to Campo and started walking North.
#1 Starting with shoes 1and 1/2 sizes too big that I am familiar with.
#2 I'm hoping I can keep the speed down and take more breaks.
Listen to the more experienced hikers more than I did last year. And this
time take their advise.
Pre hiking at least 110 miles before the KickOff. Campo to home.
Reduce to a 7 lb base weight.
Carry less water.
Carry even lighter foods. And resupply more often.

Ice and raise my legs much more than I did last year.

If my bad leg isn't ready yet I may have to settle for just finishing
Washington and Oregon.................. maybe.
