The tents that I've seen the most on the PCT are:
 
Tarptent www.tarptent.com
Europa II www.sixmoondesigns.com
Sierra Designs Light Year  http://www.sierradesigns.com/tents.display.php?id=1430
 
In 2004, I hiked part of the CDT with the MSR Hubba  http://www.msrcorp.com/tents/hubba.asp
 
The Hubba is my current favorite tent.  But I change my mind all the time.
