Hitch-hikeing is not illegal in washington state,,, However there is a place or two that you cant hitch-hike,and that is on a free way,it must be the frist 60 feetn you can, but after that that,there is a mark on almost all freeways that says ....! do not hitch after this  mark,and it has a small sign OH 6x9 with an arrow marking the the sign,but most wa.state hiways you can hitch.   the Bulltaco, Kennewick Wa.
