[pct-l] Independance and hitching.

I've hitched out and back in to the onion creek trailhead (kearsarge 
pass near Independence) twice.  both times were pretty easy.  hitching 
out was super easy.  hitching back to the trailhead was a little 
tougher, both times we went to the local gas stationa nd offered people 
$20 and found someone within an hour.  we resorted to this only after 
sitting on the road to the trailhead for a couple hrs and seeing no 
cars.
