[pct-l] Lightest slimest altimeter watch?

Thanks everyone for all the info. Lots of good reasons to get different watches.

Hard decision but for my purposes the Suunto Vector Rev. Gizmo uses sounded the best. Ilja, Thanks for the link to get $100 off. I got up to the "enter your credit card number" and had one more question.

After that I talked to a product specialist at REI who had lots of watches in his hands. He also was pro Vector. Then I asked the question. In the $200 and under range, which gets in the way the least for clothing layers on and clothing layers off.
Very similar to the Vector without the compass, yes, without the compass is the Suunto X3-HR. Very layers on and layers off friendly. I still have my 32 year old compass that never needs batteries. Left front pocket. The day's maps and data in the right.

The Suunto X3-HR was just reduced from $200 to $150.

10% in REI credits and rebates too. Back order four weeks. That means before April though. My backup $12 Casio is going back to KMART.

I'm amazed how much help I got for my one little question.

Thanks Everyone including those I didn't mention.
