[pct-l] cd,s & maps, Free Maps

According to MoreThanAMile's 'Application Support' link
(http://www.morethanamile.com/pctcd/support.htm), it states: 
"Printing Performance
The process of printing high resolution maps requires significant
computer resources. Give your computer time to decompress the graphics
and send the information to your printer. Do not attempt to run other
programs while printing maps. Check the print properties for "print
quality" and "paper type". These settings will affect printouts
substantially."  - and since the program runs entirely from the CD
directly, that slows it down a little more (other than the already
stated decompressing and transfer of large sized graphics files to the
printer).

Personally, I purchased the single, non-print version CD (I already had
TOPO! California and Oregon at the time, and have since received
Washington - so I print maps off of TOPO!)...  so I cannot speak of any
print problems with the PCT CD from MoreThanAMile Productions...
