The Triple Crown is the three major National Scenic hiking trails (AT, PCT,
CDT). The American Long Distance Hiking Association - West give out an award
each fall to receipts that've completed hiking each trail. The award
includes a plaque and a listing of on our website
(http://www.aldhawest.org/Triple/default.asp).

New Triple Crowner's attending the annual Gathering will receive the Plaque
for free. Other's can request it sent to them for a nominal fee. If you've
completed the Triple Crown you can contact the ALDHA-West award's
coordinator Gary Lindberg at triplecrown@aldhawest.org. The current list of
people on the website who've indicated that they've completed the Triple
Crown is currently incomplete.

Also if you're interested in the PNT, Gary thru-hiked it in 2002.
