OK, let's see what this whole thread has taught us...

1. Mountain bikers, unless they are hikers, are uncaring, hormone ridden 
yay-hoos  who care little other than getting their adrenaline fix on a 
downhill stretch of trail on which hikers are considered natural hazards.
2. Mountain bikers, unless they are hikers, carry bear cannisters full of 
cigarettes, alcohol, and spare Lycra.
3. Some mountain bikers, probably doubling as hikers, are good-looking 
women.
4. The process of learning about safety issues is a slow one and doesn't 
weed out enough would-be mountain bikers to attenuate the rate of excessive 
oxygen consumption, for which they should be fined. Videos can help here...
5. We are improperly using band width. We are definitely off topic... (but 
keep those videos coming)
