[BULK] - [pct-l] Instant coffee tastes awful??

I've tried the little filter spoon that REI sells. Doesn't work well.
Doesn't allow enough water to flow through, resulting in weak coffee.

My buddy, Dave, turned me on to "MUD" (also from REI). It's a tea-bag
type of coffee. One bag good enough for two cups! Well, one really good
cup and the second a bit weaker. Still gotta pack out the used bag, but
setting it on a rock will dry it out in the sun to lighten it up.

I then tried the same type of tea-bag thing that Maxwell House puts out.
Tastes horrible...

My other buddy, Vince, packs a percolator! So whenever I hike with
Vince, we have excellent coffee each morning (I essentially beg Vince to
go on every hike I do...)

I've never tried one of those espresso presses, but I doubt I'd pack the
weight, even if it tastes like Starbucks...

Try MUD. Good stuff.

I haven't found an instant coffee that doesn't make me cringe a
bit..........yet.  

Caffine pills just won't do it for me.  Ground coffee weighs more and
takes extra cleaning effort.

No Coffee?  No Way!

What's the best tasting Pure Black (no flavors added) Coffee with the
least amount of weight?
