[pct-l] Instant coffee tastes awful??

Coffee....
The ultimate CDV (caffiene delivery vehicle).
A good cup of coffee and a really nice slice of cherry pie is heaven.
However, when camping I'm not to too worried about the aesthetics of coffee, and I choke down bitter cups of instant and make due.  Usually the scenery makes up for it.
I have a backpack espresso maker.  It's light and makes a good jolting shot, but I haven't taken it with for several years.

I haven't found an instant coffee that doesn't make me cringe a bit..........yet.  

Caffine pills just won't do it for me.  Ground coffee weighs more and takes extra cleaning effort.

No Coffee?  No Way!

What's the best tasting Pure Black (no flavors added) Coffee with the least amount of weight?
