As a thought, you might want to include a few details about the
number of thru-hikers that could be expected to pass through
in a given season and an approximate window when they might
be arriving. Also, mention section hikers as prospective
customers. A merchant in a city might not consider this
market worth spit, but in a tiny hamlet near the trail selling
$35 to $50 worth of supplies to each of 250 people a year might
look very tempting. Just don't promise them the moon.
