One of the services offered to hikers at the ADZPCTKO are rides;
- to the border from Lake Morena,
- from just about any trailhead north back to the ADZ and then back to the
trailhead afterward.
The rides to the border can be arranged at the event on any morning and there
will be a specific "Ride Needed" area with a sign up and there people with
cars will likely provide you with a ride at any time.
Rides from a trailhead back to the ADZ and then back to the trailhead
afterward are best coordinated ahead of time through the ADZ website Ride Board.
This will be activated for the 2005 event sometime in February. Normally there
are lots of people driving from points north down to the ADZ who will offer to
meet you. You just have to ask on the Ride Board and then try to arrange the
timing. Of course, arranging the timing that you will be at trailhead "X" on
day "Y" around "Z" hour is really tough months ahead. However, if you start
early, you can contact your pre-setup ride at whatever supply points that you
pass to give an update to timing.
See you there!

Since I live in San
Diego, it will not be a problem for me to arrange a pick up and return
ride. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?
