[pct-l] haiku

Interseting that someone brought up haiku...  I have never been much of a poetry kind of person, but one day on the southern AT I had a sudden inspiration: I still remember it, more than 8 years later.  Sorry, I don't have any PCT-inspired haiku, although this does reveal one of the many reasons I like the PCT so much over the AT.  Anyway, here it is...
 
first out of camp,
the spider's gossamer strands
envelop my face.
 
Ajax
 
-------------------------------

alpine wind--
rising between two peaks,  
a yellow moon

steady wind
a moon slips behind
the bare aspen
