[pct-l] Yep, Scott Williamson Did the Yo-Yo

At right about 2:00 on Saturday afternoon, Scott
reached the Mexican border.  He said about 35 people
were there to see him finish, and Backpacker magazine
sent a photographer to follow him for the last couple
days, making for a slightly surreal yet enjoyable end
to his hike.
Scott has been trying to yo-yo, not to be the first,
but to accomplish the goal, since 1996; he's now done
7 complete thru-hikes, and a ton of sections for at
least 30,000 miles on the PCT. I agree 100% with
Donna's kind assessment of his personal character in
her e-mail a few days ago.
