[pct-l] Re: rain theory & Sandals
I've had my 11 oz Marmot Windshirt for about 5 years now. My only mistake
was in not buying the slightly more expensive Wind JACKET - with the
Dry-Clime hood - instead. Sadly, that item is no longer available. I bought
one of those for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! Refuses to let old
Dad steal it. My wife did sew an uncoated nylon hood onto the windshirt so
that it is now truly functional in high winds on the trail.
Technololgy has advanced since then and there are now lighter soft shell
options available, but I'll stick with my old friend. It has never failed to
keep me comfortable on the trail, around town, even around the house.
