[pct-l] Re: rain theory & Sandals

Getting a little off track of the subject line... Although they look
really cool, I've never understood the advantage a windshirt like the
Marmot Driclime would have over the combination of my 3 oz. patagonia
wind shell and R1 fleece pullover. It seems to me I'd have the same
with the added advantage to use either independently. Anyone with a
windshirt care to offer their .02 cents?

Thanks,

:I am not a fan of windshirts! I've tried several (Marmot and Wild
:Things) which didn't "breath" at all. I'm sure someone will contradict
:me, but the windshirts I've tried are absolutely worthless under
:almost every conditions with the exception of sitting in a fishing
:boat on a slightly breezy lake.
