[pct-l] Scott Williamson Arrived in Agua Dulce

Scott reached our place at approximately 4:00 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday, 4/20). He was doing fine, although he indicated that the night before was the worst weather night he'd spent on the trail -- the pouring rain and violent winds made for a miserable night, blowing his tarp tent off at 2:00 a.m. and sending his things helter-skelter all over the place. He got soaked, but said he couldn't complain, having had mostly good weather throughout his journey. We enjoyed his tales over dinner. It's quite remarkable how he remembers all the hikers he'd met along the way.

He's taking a well-deserved zero at Hiker Heaven today.

I asked him how he felt about media attention, and he said he's ambivalent. So for those of you with connections to reporters, etc., Scott would not object to talking to them.

For anyone who missed it -- Scott anticipates arriving at the southern terminus the weekend of 11/6.
