[pct-l] Long Distance Hiking Gathering

Just got back from the big meeting up at the Sierra Club Tappen Lodge near Donner Pass.  Lots of fun and you learn a lot at these events. I drove over to Sierra City to have lunch on Saturday and check out the trail.  It was neat to see a trail town and Sierra Buttes.  I am getting that old feeling about starting a section hike of the PCT.  I figure that it will be a reconnaissance-in-force for a future thur-hike.

Anyone want to start section hiking the trail in 2005?
I am old and slow, but enthusiastic. Our first trip could be from somewhere along section A and go south down to to the Lake Morena Kickoff at the end of April.
