There's a 439 acre parcel right on the border just 1/4 mile from the PCT for sale on EBay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15841&item=4318853326&rd=1 . This is most of Section 21 on Map A1 in the guidebook. 

Anyone want to open a hostel at the start of the trail? What a deal - only $1.25 million.
