[pct-l] bear spray and packs

bear spray is more for grizz territory where they may come right after you
and get a dose in the face. I wouldn't go running after a bear with bear
spray if it had my food hahaha.

If you're in a tent, the bear will not come in looking for a pack if no food
is in it = no smell....

If you're sleeping outdoors, I highly doubt a bear would come near your pack
if it was near/under you and had no food in it.

based upon my observations of bears in camp,
s.c.
