	I just called the Angeles NF, 626-574-5208.  The Crown fire
has been burning away from the PCT, and the trail remains open at this
time.

	I was told that the Angeles NF is considering additional
restrictions and/or road or trail closures, with a public announcement
tentatively expected this weekend.  I'll be unavailable for a few days;
