[pct-l] VVR?

Why were you not impressed with VVR? Who's running that place now? Is Peggy 
no longer there (I reckon I could call 'em up or email)? 

I recall some hikers complaining that VVR would "nickel and dime you to 
death" (having not stopped there) but I found the exact opposite back in '97. I 
thought it was a fantastic layover. I never had to deal with driving there 
though, so I have no input there. 

Anyone else have good or bad experiences recently at VVR? One is curious.
