I read with interest "Yosemite & Pacific Grove."
The author writes that there is no snow in Yosemite.
Yesterday I drove over Tioga Pass. There was plenty of
snow on the ground down to about 7,000 feet in the
shade of the trees. It was snowing as I drove, then
hailing hard at the Meadows. I drove along the East
side to see how the snow conditions were. There is
still plenty of snow in the high Sierra.
