But, if you plan to use it more than once, it probably would be better to
buy one at $80 and ship it to yourself. And, I believe the current 20% off
coupon going on at REI would work for it - and that would make it only $64
to buy.

Bear Vault has a PCT rental program for PCT thru-hikers in which for 55.00
they send your Canister straight to Kennedy Meadows  and you haul it to Echo
Lake where we have a pre-paid box waiting there for you to put it back into.

and their PCT rental program. Weight is 2lbs. 7oz. ( Compared to 2 lbs. 12
ozs. of a Garcia. Bear Vault is clear so Bear can also see what he Can't
