[pct-l] JMT bagagge & cameras

Regarding the packs - If it were paranoid me, I would some how carry my pack
on and not check it. In it I would have those items of greatest value and
difficulty to get, like my tent, Frogg Toggs, Giga Power stove (without
fuel), light weight clothes, etc. Everything else I would put in a throw
away cardboard box. Worst case, I need to buy a new pad and food. And, I
don't need to worry about any luggage or bag.

Regarding the camera: were I doing the PCT, I would go super light; but, you
are doing the JMT which isn't as long. So, if you want to take really good
pictures and can bear the weight, take your Nikon F3 - or find a lighter
camera like it.
