My pack is about 20LB, but I am still working on a couple issues. Tent and Cookware/stove. If your at 19 LB, that sounds right to me. Some would try to get to the 12 LB weight or less, but I don't think that will be enough to keep you warm and dry in a good rain storm.

I might get down to around 16-18 LB After everything is all done.

Looks like my pack, fully loaded with food and water, will weigh aroun 
35lbs...

looking at about 19 lbs without food and water.

Is this heavy?
