[pct-l] question bout permits



YES, you are worrying needlessly.

Only one person needs to fill out (and be named on) the permit. The others
are included in the number in the party. Wise is he who requests a permit
for one more person than he expects to have in the party. Perhaps you can
save the butt of a fellow hiker who unwisely neglected to get a permit but
is hiking with you when the ranger appears. Perhaps one of your friends may
unexpectedly decide to join you at the last minute.
