Sancho,
This is not the answer you were looking for, but you might find this useful.
If you were using a solid fuel such as Esbit:
+ 7 days worth weighs 3.5 oz
+ You can keep enough for your whole trip in your drift box, without mailing issues
+ You never have to search for fuel, like a junkie looking for a fix
+ You don't need to know beforehand where to find fuel.
+ It's lighter than alchohol
+ It doesn't spill.
+ It takes 12 minutes to fully cook 2 pkgs of ramen
Alchohol on the other hand:
+ cooks faster
Some people will tell you that Esbit is difficult to light. It's not. In a high wind area, yeah.
Some people will tell you that Esbit leaves a residue on the bottom of your pot. It can
over days of use. But you clean your pot regardless of the fuel you use, right?
Fuel doesn't have to be the issue alchohol users make it out to be. Compare the posts
about buying/shipping/using alchohol to the solid fuel user posts.
There's no comparison.
